reached KL on thurs at about 3.30/4ish. we checked into our rooms n stuff.. we had dinner with the in-laws at the hawker place. Friday.. we moved to the bungalow after breakfast.. mom and sista went for spa's while i lazed and did some wedding prep. the aussie gang, mg gang, family and friends arrived at bout 4ish. met up with ange, elaine, sidney, hsiao and all of them la. we had dinner at the usual nice place.. haha. dunno where its called. but yeah. saturday.. the 'cham cha'.. sista got ready in her kabaya. ange did her make up and hair.. it was nice =) the bridesmaids each got bout.. 70 over bucks for haggling at the door. the groomsmen and lem had to wear diapers, and their hair had to be filled with baby pins. they had to drink a wierd concocted drink (the 4 spices to a marriage; bitter, sour, sweet and salty) from a baby bottle. after that they had to sing a song in a babyish voice... and after all that.. lem had to write a poem for my sista. which melted everyones hearts.. hahaha. sid and i had to find time to practice the song for the dinner.. it went pretty bad at first.. but in the end it was really fun. we left the bungalow and went to lems place for cham cha. ange, wil, hinson, sid and i went to have a drink at some kopitiam. lOlx. it was funny.. we had dinner at lems place.. durian feast, hokkien mee feast.. satay.... and lots of food. lOlx. ben, eliza, jet and i played bridge and big2 all night. went back to the bungalow to tie ribbons onto the programs..gd times. sid came over to practice the song again. we practiced till like.. 11.30.. was so tired.. next dayy.. the wedding dayyy! went for breaky with sista, sid and gerald. yiwen was there too! havent seen her for a long time! we ate and stuff.. chatted till like 11ish.. rachel, jan and i went for a swim. then gerald and sid came too. swam and took pictures.. finished swimming and went for a shower. and had to start preparing for the wedding. the flowers came.. and the brides bouquet was horrible.. and elaine, ange and i tried to change it. ee ma's family gave me a suprise with a cake and dai ee ma gave me an ang pao! sista said happy bday to me in the morning.. sid said happy bday.. gerald too.. somehow they knew. lolx.and yeah! it was cool. got pressies from eliza, jan and rach and aunty jenny.. hehehe =) neway.. the photographer and videographer came and stuff. ange started doing makeup for sista.. while the chairs for the garden wedding was being set up. ange helped me with my hair.. and i got my makeup on.. and was running erands for sista.the flower girls were really excited and were a tad annoying as we were all really busy! but it was all cool. sista and all the bridesmaids were ready. it started to rain!!! so they had to carry all the chairs indoors.. while we waited for the rain to stop, the photographer was happily taking pictures of us. we were posing and all those stuff. it was fun. everyone was praying for the rain to stop. the rain stopped for a bit. and so we all decided to have a fast ceremony. everyone stood in the garden as we prepared to walk down the pebbled path. the music started. (the prayer) and we walked down the aisle. it didnt rain at all after! it was great. and the vows took place and all. and lem and sam .. husband and wife! woohoOO! =) congrats. i went back to the bungalow and changed to the back gown and went back to the reception/dinner. it was great to meet everyone. sid and i sang the song and yeah. it went well :) sista looked great in the green dress. it was fantastic! we took heaps of pics after the dinner when everyone left. it was gd. there was a scarryyy waited that was like stalkin me.. he was freaky.. he gave the stares....... and when i walked past him he was like.. u look nice...*shivers* lOlx. anyway.. we went to count ang paos in the room.. and after we went to chill at the honeymoon suite. stayed there till bout 2.30am ish.. the rest left at 4 am ish. twas great fun. nxt morning.. we had breakyyy again.. with lem, sista, laura, gerald, sid, ange, wil and daniel. i went to sid's and geralds room.. and waited for sam and lem.. but they took reallly long. oh well.. we chilled for a while... till sid had to leave for the airport, back to melb. so yeah.. we had the bye byes and stuff. gerald gave me a lift back and yeah.. said the bye byes again. we had a gd bus ride back.. playing big2 the whole way with ben and eliza... =) gd times.. 11/12/2005 the wedding was GREAT!
